This looper / bypass switch has three banks of four channels each. Each bank has a transparent input buffer.
Mono input - 4x mono loop - mono output
Mono input - 4x mono loop - mono output
Stereo input - 4x stereo loop - stereo output
Relays are used to switch the signals and are configured in a true-bypass orientation.
During switching, the output signal of the stereo bank is shortly muted (optional) to prevent ‘pops’ on the output from externally connected effects and modules.
The stereo bank has an extra switch to select between mono / stereo input signals.
In mono mode, it splits the input signal into the left and right channel of the loops and output.
MIDI messages can be used to control the relays, where the MIDI address can be selected with 2 DIP switches.
MIDI output connector repeats all the incoming messages and sends messages for each button pressed.
This allows for 4 of these modules to be connected together for a total of 32 mono channels + 16 stereo channels.
Address range (CC): B0..B3
Control range: 0x01..0xC
There are two TRS jacks for connecting to remote equipment (Footswitch, MIDI input, MIDI output) following the MIDI type-A standard.
MIDI is received in three bytes, where the address is sent first, followed by the function and status.
Per example (address = B0):
[0xB0, 0x1, 0x0] bypasses first channel
[0xB0. 0x1. 0x1] enables the first channel
[0xB0, 0xC, 0x0] bypasses last channel
[0xB0. 0xC, 0x1] enables the last channel
