The DSP-1 prototype

his pedal platform was designed to explore digital signal processing and to evaluate the quality and concept of various DSP methods.

Unlike the DSP-1, which focuses on being compact and efficient while delivering great tone, the open-source project includes more features, menus, and support for multiple simultaneous effects. Although the pedal has four footswitches, the limited processing power of the controller means not all effect types can be used at the same time.

I try to keep the project updated with the latest effects and features, but the release of the DSP-1 has temporarily paused active development.

Note that the DSP-1 and the open-source project can run the same audio-processing algorithms. There is virtually no difference in audio quality or effect models between them.
