Easy Integration

A compact dual-channel stereo relay switcher with full MIDI control, hardware buttons, and configurable footswitch behavior. Designed for flexible routing, stereo A/B switching, and reliable live use.

Key Features

  • Real-time MIDI control & response

  • Relay state memory (restores last state on power-up)

  • Wear-leveled storage for long-term reliability

  • Hardware buttons + dual footswitch inputs

Designed for real hardware

Easily enable / bypass two effects or swap their position in any signal chain. Ideal for stereo effects, or multi-channel effect modules

DIP switches to control behavior of relays, buttons, LEDs, and MIDI address

Instant repeating MIDI messages for chaining multiple devices together

Simple Micro Python software to modify and control features

Ideal For

  • Stereo guitar rigs

  • Dual (pre)amp setups

  • Loop switching systems

  • MIDI-controlled pedalboards

  • Studio routing applications

Configuration A

  • Mode 1 - Toggle left and right channel independently

  • Mode 2 - Toggle or swap left and right simultaneously

Configuration B

  • Mode 1: Toggle two effects independently

  • Mode 2: Switch between two effects / channels

Mode Switches

The DMME MIDI Switch module has three mode switches to configure the relay indication via the LEDs and control the actions of the individual buttons and switches that can be connected to it.

Footswitch behavior (LTCH):

  • LTCH = 0 — Momentary
    Press toggles the assigned function.

  • LTCH = 1 — Latching
    Press = ON
    Release = OFF

Relay behavior (SWP):

  • SWP = 0 — Independent Mode
Left and Right channels operate separately.
Ideal for dual-loop control or independent bypass switching.

  • SWP = 1 — Stereo / Dual-Channel Mode
Both channels operate as a stereo pair.
Includes selectable channel routing and stereo swap control. Perfect for stereo effects or dual-channel setups.

LED behavior (LED):

  • LED = 0 — Selector Indication (SWP=1 only)
When SWP is enabled, LEDs display routing selection rather than direct relay state.

  • LED = 1 — Direct Status Indication (Default)

    • LED 1 → Left channel status

    • LED 2 → Right channel status

    • LED 3 → Stereo swap status

Detailed Features

Hardware:

  • True-bypass relays for enabling / disabling two separate effects / channels

  • Swap location of two effect / channels in a signal chain

  • MIDI input / output for remote control & pass-through

  • Footswitch remote control

Software:

  • Receive MIDI Note ON / Control Change to control relays

  • Relay MIDI messages to MIDI output for connecting multiple devices

  • Corresponding MIDI message output when using buttons / footswitch

  • DIP switches for selecting MIDI, LEDs, buttons, and footswitch behavior

MIDI message Structure:

  • Selectable MIDI address via DIP switches

    • Address 0x90 - 0x9F (Note ON channel 1-16)

    • Address 0xB0 - 0xBF (CC channel 1-16)

  • Function set by MIDI value 0 (off) or value > 0 (on)

    • 0x01 - left channel

    • 0x02 - Right channel

    • 0x03 - Swap channels

Example command:

[0x92, 0x01, 0x00] → Turn LEFT channel OFF (Note ON, channel 3)
